ABS P430

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) comes in many different shapes (pellets, filament, blocks, etc.) and is made using many different colors. Some typical products that use ABS are toys, phone covers, car components, residential drain pipes, small kitchen appliances and electrical housings.

ABS-P430 is a thermoplastic that has excellent mechanical strength, excellent impact resistance and very good electrical insulation properties. This particular blend of ABS allows the 3D print to obtain excellent dimensional accuracy, allows for very complex 3D prints and has a high quality aesthetic look.

This particular ABS allows for post processing such as drilling, tapping, sanding, plating, machining, etc.

If form, fit and function are important to your project, this material is a perfect choice.

Impact Polystyrene

Polystyrene comes in many different shapes (pellets, filament, blocks, etc.) and is made using many different colors. Some typical products that use Impact Polystyrene are consumer products such as toys, appliance components, drinking cups, computer housings, etc.

Impact Polystyrene, sometimes referred to as High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), is a thermoplastic that contains low strength, good impact resistance and allows the 3D print to have lower costs. This particular blend of polystyrene can print moderately complex 3D prints and has an average aesthetic look.

If the part has simple geometry and the costs are critical, this material may be a good choice
