Tooling
3D printed tooling, jigs and fixtures typically cost less money than traditional tooling manufacturing methods and the tools can be delivered in as little as 12 hours. Our 3D printed tools are very durable and are utilized in various manufacturing related applications. We have the ability to print with chemically resistant plastics, plastics that can be sanded, machined, drilled and more.
Prototypes
Wellstronics3D's prototyping service is a great way to test form, fit and function for your idea, concept or design. If you are an engineer, designer, hobbyist or entrepreneur, give us a chance to help. Our refined processes and industrial printers allow us to provide many different working design features such as: working snap features, press fit and sliding applications, text and more.
End Use Parts
When you need small production builds and can't justify purchasing capital equipment (molds, machines, etc.), let Wellstronics3D help. Our processes, materials and printers give you the ability to purchase production grade 3D printed thermoplastics that can be used for end use parts. We work with manufacturing and marketing companies to provide small runs of parts and products. Small order production runs have typically been used for small and large scale field testing, final customer products and production assembly tooling.
Materials
There are many different materials to choose from for additive manufacturing and 3D printing. At Wellstronics3D, we offer many different types of 3D printable plastics. Typically, we prefer working with engineering grade plastics such ABS, ASA, PC-ABS, Nylon, Polypropylene and TPU but we also provide many other materials. The material of choice depends on the final application, tolerance requirements, surface finish and lead time. We want to provide you with the best product available so if you have questions feel free to contact us.
File Help/Translation
All 3D printers requires a specific file format to create a 3D printed part. In some cases, you may or may not have the exact CAD file to make a 3D printed part you need. At Wellstronics3D, we are able to create/modify these files from napkin sketches, existing 2D drawings, 3D models and CAD files. We have professional 3D printing, reverse engineering and 3D modeling software to take whatever you have and convert it over to a 3D printable file.
Post Processing
Wellstronics3D's 3D printed parts are held to the highest industrial standards. By using premium materials, 3D print file optimization and industrial 3D printers, our 3D prints can be machined, drilled, tapped, pressed, laser marked, plated, sanded, painted and more. Our goal is to provide you with the best service and prints available. If post processing is required on your 3D printed part, we will make sure your print is optimized for post processing.
