Pepsi had contacted us to help reverse engineer some clips that were part of the automated packaging process.  The current clips that they were using had been molded many years ago and the mold tool no longer existed so as the clips started to wear out, the stock of new clips had run out and if the worn clips could no longer be replaced, the automation line would shut down.  We were asked if we could recreate the design and then cost effectively manufacture the product in a somewhat short timeline based on a physical part only.  We reverse engineered 4 different size clips and then proceeded to test and 3D print the clips.  Between design, testing and 3D printing, we produced over 200 clips in less than one week.
